Summer is just around the corner, and it’s time to trade screen time for mat time! We are thrilled to announce the Essence BJJ Summer Camp 2026. This year, we’ve designed an experience that goes far beyond traditional childcare. We are offering a high-energy, educational, and fun-filled environment where children can grow, learn, and make lasting memories.
Whether your child is a seasoned practitioner at Essence BJJ Danville or has never stepped on a mat before, our camp is open to both members and non-members ages 5 and up.

Danville Summer Camp Themes & Dates
We have two incredible weeks lined up at our Danville location, each with a unique theme to spark your child’s imagination:
June 22 – 26: Wizards & Martial Arts Magic
Step into a world of enchantment! During this week, our “Little Champions” will explore the magic of movement. Alongside their martial arts training, we’ll incorporate themes of mystery and wonder, showing them that the real “magic” lies in their own discipline and focus.
July 20 – 24: Time Travelers: Warriors of the World
Our second Danville session takes us on a journey through history. We’ll explore the different cultures and warrior spirits from around the globe. It’s a fun, educational way for kids to understand the history behind the arts they practice.
What’s Included in the Camp?
Our Summer Camp isn’t just about sitting around. Every day is packed with activity designed to improve physical health and confidence:
Jiu-Jitsu & Muay Thai: Fundamental techniques taught in a safe, age-appropriate way.
Self-Defense: Practical skills to help kids stay safe and stand up to bullying.
Movement Games: Fun, dynamic games that build coordination, agility, and teamwork.
Social Connection: A chance to meet new friends in a supportive environment.
