DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A GI FOR THE FREE TRIAL?

No, you don’t need to buy a new gi before committing. We will provide one for you as a loan for the free trial class.

We ask that you come about 10-15 minutes early so that you can find parking, fill out our waiver for class if you haven’t done it online and meet the Professor/Coach. We will also give you a tour of our facilities and fit you for a loaner Gi if you need one. Be sure to bring some water and wear athletic clothes.

Absolutely not! Jiu Jitsu is a great way to lose weight and get fit, so you practice Jiu Jitsu to get in shape, not the other way around.

We offer free trials to all our programs without any obligations. We want you to be sure that’s something you want to do before committing. The only thing that we require is that you sign our consent form before you try any class. The trial class is exclusive for local residents.

No Gi is the traditional Jiu-Jitsu adapted to the lack of a uniform to grab. You will learn to take down, control, hold, and apply submissions without the need of a Gi. This is a faster grappling modality and will help you increase your stamina and your timing to the application of the techniques.

Yes, uniforms are mandatory. It represents our team and shows respect to our leader. This also helps create a sense of organization, professionalism, and unity.
